Bramalea’s Amazing Race Promises More Special Moments with Family

Bramalea's Amazing RaceFive Challenges that will leave you empowered!

Brampton, Ontario – On Saturday the 24th of September 2016, the Bramalea Community Health Centre will launch Bramalea's Amazing Race. We invite residents to celebrate family while helping us officially kick off the 2016 Community Health and Wellbeing Week. In keeping with this year's theme of People and Communities First – we wish to spotlight the important role family's play in mobilizing and shaping our local community. This fun, activity based race is for the ENTIRE family. So register now and join us from 10 am to 2 pm on September 24th, 2016 at Chinguacousy Park, Brampton.

We recognize that the summer is almost coming to an end but this is an opportunity for families to remain engaged and connected. We believe health education, physical activity and skill building can take place at the same time in an environment geared to engage the whole family.

We hope to offer a safe, fun and competitive environment for everyone to gain essential skills for adopting a healthier lifestyle. Get your teams ready! Recruit your friends, colleagues and family members to compete. Teams will be of 2 to 5 individuals. We challenge anyone between the ages of 0 to 150 years to participate. Our five challenges will test your wit, patience and endurance.

The Bramalea CHC is a member of the WellFort family and continues to champion our vision...

"A healthier community where everyone belongs."

We urge you to take a few hours out of your Saturday to come together as a family or social network and celebrate more special moments. Fun mind-boggling challenges, prizes and a barbeque to celebrate! What else could you ask for?

"Families drive social change. We wish to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to navigate today's healthcare system. If they have fun while doing it, so be it!"
